I have always had a deep affection for the water. Since relocating to Florida a few years back, I have come to see parallels between my life and the ocean. Just like the ocean, my life is beautiful and often tranquil, yet it can also be fierce, and at times, outright turbulent and unforgiving (like my first encounter with a hurricane).
I often find myself wondering if others are encountering the same waves, especially in today’s era of social media where it seems everyone is surfing around me. Thus, here I am: a woman with a full-time job, a home that requires constant upkeep, a shrinking budget, and a deep love for travel and adventure.
